Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a PT Residential Aide in the Growth House Dept at Newton Medical Center. Hours would be 11pm-7am and inlcuding every other weekend.
Essential Job Functions:
Assists Residential Specialists and Clinicians with reports on the residents movement toward or barriers to achieving treatment goals. Reports on any other issues or problems as appropriate.
Responsible for the overnight supervision and management of the adult residents.
Maintains accurately all necessary resident associate records including, filing, log entries and personal care entries.
Assist in light household maintenance of the facility as necessary.
Oversees residents self-administration of medication.
Is responsible for adult skill teaching and programming in the evening and early morning activities of residential living.
Maintains a commitment as a team member to achieve program goals and objectives.
Provides transportation for residents as necessary.
Other tasks which may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear. The employee is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
High school diploma or general education degree.
Maintains current CPR, AED and First Aide Certification as well as Nurse Safe Training and Fire Training.
