SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Venue Shift Supervisor, performs the prompt and proper service of meals while attending to patrons in the dining room.
Follows and enforces all applicable food service health and safety regulation and procedures.
Directs customers to tables, assists in seating and distributes menus.
Describes and explains the products on the menu along with daily specials.
Takes and records customers’ orders correctly, noting any special requests.
Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen.
Observe customers to respond to additional requests to determine when meal has been completed. May assist in the clearing of used dishes and items.
Totals bill and refers customer to cashier for payment.
May ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as determined by the Venue Shift Supervisor.
Helps to keep restaurant service area clean and tidy.
Cooperates with other staff of the department to ensure high quality of service.
Keep up-to-date on Casino and restaurants promotions and be able to inform customers in a comprehensive manner.
Be accountable for and fully utilize EDGE, our guest experience program, with each guest interaction.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must have the ability to deal with problems, which may involve several concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to talk and hear. The individual is also regularly required to bend; stand; walk; sit; and use hand/eye coordination. The Individual must be able to lift at least 30 pounds. The individual may be required to stand for 8 hours.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the Casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. The individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment and constantly keep customer satisfaction as their first priority.
The Casino is a smoking environment and the employee must be able to work in a smoke-filled atmosphere.
