Knife River has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician (Aggregate & Ready Mix), in Klamath Falls Oregon.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Must always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors observed.

Sample and test aggregate, asphalt, and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards.

Other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.

Training will be provided for qualified candidate. Seasonal/Part-time employment potential.

Minimum Qualifications:

Concrete & Aggregate current certifications are preferred.

Good math, record keeping, and problem solving ability.

Construction materials testing with current certifications preferred.

Computer spreadsheet experience preferred.

Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary.

– Must be able to lift aggregate samples of up to 50 lbs. approx. 10 to 15 times per day. – Communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required.
Must have a positive attitude and be able to work well with others in addition to being able to productively work independently.

Need a good driving record.

Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
