Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator reports to a senior leader within MUSC. Under limited supervision, the Administrative Coordinator performs specialized and routine operational and administrative functions to support the department(s) to maintain an efficient and effective operation.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and three (3) years of relevant work experience required; or a Master’s degree (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH or relevant degree) and two years of relevant work experience preferred. Clinical healthcare experience preferred. Considerable knowledge of program planning, development, budgeting and project management preferred. Knowledge of telehealth preferred. Experience working with healthcare information technology. Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and software applications commonly used in program management required. Critical thinking skills essential.
