Responsible for the overall operation of the RV Park on assigned shift, including efficient, informative and cordial service to promote guest satisfaction. This is a part time position, with scheduling based on business needs. May cross train as Front Desk Clerk as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensure customer satisfaction and return visits through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
Promptly greet and acknowledge guests entering the RV Park, extending warmth and hospitality.
Handle all telephone calls with courtesy and efficiency. Take and log all RV reservation requests.
Assists customers with RV facility use: check in, accept payment, assign RV space and hookup information, amenities, etc.
Accept and process all payment transactions, both cash and credit card, according to procedures.
Administer the day-to-day operation of the POS software, running daily reports, monitoring user codes, running maintenance utilities and other routine functions. Advise RV Lead of unusual technical problems or system needs.
Respond to guest?s inquiry, information and/or complaints, in a timely and professional manner.
Promote teamwork through punctual, responsible attendance and courteous respectful behavior
Handle cash transactions accurately as outlined by procedural industry, verify cash banks, make safe drops, prepare cash reports and follow credit card verification procedures.
Maintain up to date knowledge of operations to promote customer satisfaction and return business.
Assist with cleaning RV restrooms, showers and laundry room daily and more frequently as business needs dictate.
Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guest. Promptly addresses hazards and reports and concerns to RV Lead and Hotel Manager and or Lodging Director.
Maintain a clean organized work area.
Communicate operational needs, or concerns with the RV lead, Hotel Manager and or Lodging Director. Also reports any damages, lost and found items and/or unusual occurrences immediately.
Comply with all regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Six (6) months cash handling with front line customer service experience required.
Must be capable to balance daily cash, credit cards, and checks. Operate most office machines; copy, fax, 10 key, etc.
High School Diploma or GED
Requires self-starter initiative and ability to work without constant supervision
Basic computer knowledge- able to work independently in database, POS system.
Effective communication skills-verbally able to provide instruction and respond to questions; comprehend written materials; and have good auditory acuity to communicate on the phone.
Flexible schedule; able to work various shifts, days, holidays as scheduled.
Physically fit-able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time; able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers; able to bend, twist and maneuver up to 50 lbs.; able to work with cleaning chemicals.
Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
Requires criminal history check.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Front desk experience.
